Director of Operations
To lead and develop the charity's Educational Programmes across England and Wales, including Year In Industry placement service UK-wide, with a focus on achieving consistency of approach, application of best practice and high standards of efficiency and quality. To report to the CEO and Board of Trustees on delivery performance and operational strategy.
Following a recent restructure, the charity has created a start-up feel to an organisation with established roots and supporters over 30 years. They are continuing through an exciting period of transformation, moving to a hybrid delivery model, re-organising the charity to better the meet the needs of the young people they serve. With their Board over the next year, they will develop a long-term strategy and business plan to grow and thrive supporting young people of all backgrounds on their way to a successful career.

We are looking for a senior leader, with extensive experience of Operations and business acumen, process-driven and able to lead a diverse and agile team.

By joining the charity , you will become a core member of the Senior Management Team and have direct exposure to the Board of Trustees and the opportunity to fundamentally shape the organisation and its
direction.

Peron specification
Extensive operational delivery experience, ideally with STEM enrichment and enhancement experience

Good strategic capabilities and project management skills

Excellent IT and analytical skills to gather, evaluate data and performance/operation metrics

Strong interpersonal skills for developing stakeholder relationships

Proven track record in developing new funding sources

Excellent business acumen with experience in understanding financial accounts and the analysis of financial information

Experience of leading, motivating, mentoring and coaching immediate reports to improve performance
