I am excited to be working with an amazing educational charity for an Education Team Manager. This 6-month role will see you play a key role in ensuring that the organisation continues to deliver high-quality education.
The successful candidate will manage the busy Education Team, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the team, supporting and developing the talented individuals within the team and overseeing the educational budget, and monitoring and evaluation framework. Working alongside the Director of Programmes, the successful candidate will bring energy, passion and creativity to the role to inspire the Team to consider new opportunities within their programme areas and to help drive innovation.
This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-output department in a busy and fast-paced organisation and would suit an experienced team manager with a background in programme design and/or delivery, who is passionate about working with a driven and experienced team.

Key responsibilities:
Line management, development and pastoral support for the Education Team
Working with Director of Programmes to implement the educational vision and strategy
To ensure that the team are supported to plan and deliver our educational projects, initiatives and programmes to the highest standards
Oversee the recruitment, retention and development of our team of freelance educators
To create excellent communication mechanisms across the team and between the Education Team and wider team
To Create and oversee the annual budget for the organisations educational output, including overseeing the tender process for any external contracts and managing external contractors where necessary
Working with the Head of Impact to ensure a monitoring and evaluation framework is implemented across programmes.

Person specification:
A track record of line management and leadership, with a demonstrable ability to inspire, energise and support a team.
A solid understanding and experience of educational programme and project management and delivery.
Experience of creating and monitoring budgets.
