Email Marketing Officer

Job description

I am delighted to be working with a leading children’s charity in their search for an Email Marketing Officer.

As Email Marketing Officer you will play a key role in maximising engagement and income for the charity from supporters and potential supporters through the development and delivery of effective email campaigns.

Key responsibilities include building and sending marketing emails, working on automated journeys, being the centre of excellence and expertise on the use of marketing (especially email but also paid social, display, PPC and SEO) and influencing teams to help them acquire, retain and engage supporters. You will work to identify, test and develop email plans to maximise engagement, revenue generation and stewardship through the use of email and will manage the automated email journeys for our various products.

In order to be successful, you must have experience of successfully operating at a high level in the delivery of email as a part of customer/supporter acquisition and retention strategies. This includes successfully operating the delivery of email campaigns from design & creation, data segmentation and reporting. You must also have experience of web based email marketing tools (ideally Adestra), Photoshop, Dreamweaver/HTML/CSS and web and social networking analytics tools.
