Event Partnership Officer

Job description

Harris Hill are working with a known charity on their leading bespoke mass participation event. This is a fantastic opportunity to really get involved in the organising and supporting of this event and is a real career developing opportunity.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Support the charity partners involved in this event, ensuring they are supported through their journey
- Assisting the Events Project manager to engage with new partners, speaking to new groups and raising awareness of the event
- Working on the program looking at ways to improve, evaluate and monitor
- Manage the help desk support for runners and queries
- On the day support, including briefings, working with volunteers etc

Skills and experience needed: 

- 2 years + working in a fundraising background, whether community, corporate or a variety of events-based roles
- Experience dealing with budgets and working to targets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong relationship building skills and a confident telephone manner
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team and good time management skills
- Database skills
