A children's charity in London, seek an Events Fundraising Assistant ASAP for 5 weeks, on a full time basis.

You will be responsible for supporting the events team to recruit runners for the London Marathon 2020, additionally to support the aftercare of the 2019 running team. The role will focus on achieving a consistent first class customer care experience through relationship building.
Duties:
Be a key point of contact, calling and emailing to recruit runners for the event and respond to all correspondence promptly, comprehensively and courteously.
Manage and maintain accurate contact management records on the Raiser's Edge database of all correspondence and feedback from all supporters as a resource for staff.
Assist in the administration of the applications process for supporters.
Support Events Fundraising Executive with aftercare of current team through administrative duties.
Undertake vetting of potential supporters at the recruitment stage to ensure each individual is fully aware of their fundraising commitment to and confident of hitting their target.
Provide fundraising assistance to supporters through answering the telephone, e-mail and written enquiries and maintaining exceptional standards of customer care.
Support Events Fundraising Executive through administration and regular calls through income chasing post-activity to achieve income targets ensuring all supporters feel valued and remain engaged.
Focus on increasing awareness of the cause for supporters.
Deliver an exceptional supporter journey and be responsible for recruiting required participants to meet expected targets through answering the telephone, e-mail, written enquiries and face-to-face where necessary.
Day to day administrative work including logging of enquiries, co-ordination of application and welcome packs, mail outs and to support the development of fundraising materials.
