Events Fundraising Manager

Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a fantastic charity in their search for an enthusiastic Events Fundraising Manager in order to cover a maternity leave.
This fantastic role is responsible for the planning, development, marketing and delivery of the fundraising events programme within the charity. The aim being to grow participant numbers, income and event reach to meet ambitious targets.

Location: London, hybrid working
Salary: 35,000 per annum
Length of the contract: 12 month FTC
Deadline: ASAP

You will project manage and deliver the London Marathon 2022 fundraising events within the challenge events programme with support from the Senior Public Fundraising Manager to achieve first class supporter care, from recruitment to post-event evaluation, paying close attention to detail and adhering to agreed deadlines and KPIs.
Not only will you be recruiting, engaging and exciting our supporters but you ll also be delivering in excess of 1.2 million

Alongside this you will lead the events and community team to deliver exciting new projects for the charity including Facebook fundraisers and community projects, identifying any new opportunities in the sector.

Ideally you will need to have depth knowledge of the London Marathon as well as other popular third party events, knowledge of Facebook fundraisers and how they have developed in the sector, and experience of line management or supervision.
But you also have to be passionate about the future of events and community fundraising, bringing drive and enthusiasm to your role with the ability to motivate and lead your team.
You will also inspire and motivate the charity s supporters and their families.
