Events Officer

Job description

A wonderful health charity are looking for an Events Officer to join the team, looking after their events portfolio. This role involves working on challenge events at an exciting time in the charity.

Duties and responsibilities:
Work with the Events Assistant on the challenge events portfolio. From planning to delivery of the event.

To work the Fundraising Manager on the budgets and strategy to increase income and participants

Manage and develop relationships with supporters and participants, recruiting them, providing a positive supporter journey and influencing them to continue support.

Identify and research new opportunities to develop the events portfolio and grow income

Work closely with other teams including Communications Team to develop promotional plans and marketing for the events

Skills and experience required:
Degree level or equivalent would be desirable.

Demonstrable experience of delivering and marketing events in charity

Experience of establishing, managing and evaluating new Challenge Events to generate growth.

Experience providing supporter care ,with strong communication skills and the ability to develop
relationships

Impeccable organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task.

Valid UK drivers licence.
