Events Project Manager - Bespoke Events

Harris Hill are delighted to be working with one of the UK’s leading cancer charity in their search for a Bespoke Events Manager. The successful candidate will play an integral role within the Fundraising division. This is a 12 month FTC

The role holder will manage the development and delivery of the key project areas within the portfolio.

About the role:

  • ·         Build and deliver a growing base of event activities, both special events and outdoor mass participation events  
  • ·         Bring a highly motivated approach and creativity to planning and delivering events
  • ·         Line manage the Events Executive

 

Your responsibilities:

  • ·         To lead on the planning, delivery and development of special and bespoke events
  • ·         To develop strategies through evaluating and analysing the events which sit within the agreed portfolio
  • ·         To manage the relationship with event committees and liaise with senior personnel
  • ·         To source, manage and liaise with external suppliers such as third party event organisers
  • ·         To work with the Senior Events Manager on the production of all materials in relation to the Events portfolio
  • ·         To work with the Senior Events Manager to set the budgets for the financial year and be responsible for reaching financial targets
  • ·         To work with the Senior Events Manager to secure sponsorship and in kind support
