Finance Manager

Job description

Harris Hill is working with an amazing children's charity to find a motivated Finance Manager to join their team. Duties will include:

Key responsibilities
Provide reporting & monitoring info to the fundraising team to assist with external reporting on grants from trusts
Pay HMRC, childcare provider etc. following monthly payroll (which is run externally). Posting salary journals into Sage
Month end reconciliation of bank account
Prepare monthly management accounts
Track settlement of sales of invoices & chase unpaid invoices
Key skills
Experience of working on charity accounts
Fully competent of working with Sage 50, including sales & purchase ledgers, bank reconciliation and nominal ledger
Experience in preparing management accounts in a charity setting
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with limited supervision
Ability to hit the ground running and work within a pre-existing set of systems with limited induction
