Your new role

As the Financial Accountant you will be responsible for preparing a comprehensive draft of annual accounts ready for audit review. You will need to ensure that the adequate balance sheet accounts and supporting schedules are available and supportable. You will need to work through discrepancies and errors within the underlying accounting and present necessary adjustments to ensure the overall accuracy of the annual accounts.

What you’ll need to succeed

To succeed you will need a relevant professional in accountancy (CIMA, ACA, ACCA, CIPFA). You will also need previous charity experience as knowledge of the charity accounting SORP is required. You will need experience in a similar position with strong experience of preparing complex annual accounts, preparation for audit and preparing reconciliations. You will also need to be an effcetive communicator both written and verbal with a high level of IT literacy and excellent Excel skills.

What you’ll get in return

This organisation offers significant flexibility with remote working and an hourly rate of up to £32. The role can also be offered part time (4 days per week).
