Fundraising and Communications Executive

Job description

Harris Hill is working with a Mental Health charity to find an interim Fundraising and Communications Executive from the 25th April for around 3-5 months, starting ASAP.



Duties:
To be the first point of contact for supporters through DIY fundraising, providing advice and support to maximise income in the most efficient way
To ensure the CRM system (Raiser's Edge) is kept up to date and ensure data can be utilised to inform future decision making and fundraising activity
To deliver an exceptional supporter experience, providing personalised stewardship to active supporters and seeking opportunities to engage with warm historical donors on mass whilst we build our foundations
To ensure delivery of good governance, ensuring compliant fundraising and supplying supporters with up to date guidance
To work collaboratively across the Fundraising & Communications team, contributing to wider planning, utilising current channels to engage with current and potential supporters, and seeking out new ones
To work alongside the Dir of Fundraising & Comms to lay strong foundations to enable growth in our fundraising, reviewing processes and establishing new ones

Person spec

Good knowledge of working with databases (preferably Raiser's Edge)
Good knowledge of working in the charity sector
Strong and effective communicator
Proactive and organised, with good attention to detail
Excellent time management skills
A good team player who can work collaboratively
Good experience of using initiative to establish new ways of working, and comfortable with A Level of ambiguity in the interim
Understanding of DEI principles and a commitment to apply them
Good experience of working in a community/events fundraising environment
