Fundraising Assistant - Trusts and grants

Job description

A national charity in London, seek a Fundraising Assistant ASAP until they find a permanent member of staff.

This role supports their Trust and Grants fundraising team. Reporting to the Grants Manager, the Fundraising Assistant will play a pivotal role in helping the Trust achieve its plan to sustainably grow income through trusts and foundations, fundraising events and individual donors.

You will work with the Grants Manager and colleagues across the organisation to develop projects and then write and submit applications to Trusts and other grant making bodies. You will also research and update information on new trusts we can apply to as well as manage and report to a portfolio of smaller Trusts.
You will also assist the wider fundraising team with fundraising events, donor stewardship, database administration and prospect research.

We are ideally looking for someone who has worked in Trust/ Grants or experience of writing proposals. However, anyone with fundraising experience, has a considered approach to work and results and a keen eye for detail.
