Fundraising Officer

Job description

A fantastic health charity are looking for a Fundraising Officer, which is homebased (North Cambridgeshire/Norfolk/Suffolk) role. You will work across the regional fundraising portfolio to maximise and drive income generation within the region through building relationships.

Key responsibilities will include:
-To make plans in your regional area to help reach and surpass fundraising income targets
-To maximise fundraising income and pipeline by reaching our to and supporting fundraisers in the community, new and existing.
-Give talks and presentations about the charity in order to gain new support, and to recruit and train volunteers and supporters to do the same.
- To identify and manage partnerships and relationships with companies, educational establishments, groups within your area.

In order to apply for this position, you should have the following skills and experience:
-Demonstrable experience within community fundraising or sales/relationship facing role.
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
-Excellent project management skills.
-Strong organisational, multi-tasking and administrative skills.
-Ability to build strong relationships.
- Ability to drive and own car.
