Fundraising Executive

Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a leading children charity in their search for a self-motivated, enthusiastic Fundraising Executive to join the team of seven. You will provide stewardship through the team mailboxes, undertake a range of administrative tasks and manage a small portfolio of third-party sporting events; raising vital funds.

The role entails:

Delivering a supporter event experience that surpasses supporters expectations, in order to maximise the income raised. This will include responding to queries that come in to the team mailboxes.
Undertaking a range of tasks, such as maintaining consoles, monitoring fundraising performance, uploading photos to the image library, liaising with the charity fulfilment house and updating event webpages.
Project management of specific events from planning, to the development and execution of marketing, stewardship and on the day plans, and evaluation.
Liaising with colleagues across the charity, and event providers, agencies and suppliers to maximise opportunities.

Key skills and experience:
Well-developed verbal communication skills to deal effectively, efficiently and
appropriately with supporters, staff, senior managers and external organisations.
Highly developed written communication skills to understand, interpret and present
complex information in a persuasive and accurate way for a range of audiences.
A good attention to detail and the ability to collect data from various sources, analyse
findings and present them clearly in a way that meets desired outcomes.
Ability to build, manage and develop relationships with team members and others and
to achieve objectives through these relationships.
Ability to successfully negotiate with others to achieve desired outcomes.
Ability to apply effective numeracy skills in entering and recording financial data and
interpreting, analysing and presenting financial data in clear and accurate format to
meet desired outcomes.
Well developed ability to work with and through other teams and departments to
maximise results for an organisation.
Ability to plan, monitor and implement projects/events/initiatives to agreed deadlines
An understanding of running, cycling and other challenge event activities.

Salary is: 22,366- 24,651 per annum included LW if you are based in London or any other location 19,000 - 21,285 plus 500 homeworkers allowances (as appropriate)
