Job Title: Fundraising Manager
Responsible to: Director of Marketing & Sales
We nurture and coach the UK's most vulnerable children and young people to create professional campaigns that trigger local, national, and international change towards sustainable societies and social good.
In partnership with socially motivated charities, public services, and commercial brands we give children and young people intensive learning experiences that not only help them recover from their difficult childhood circumstances; but create campaigns which are stunningly successful.
Job Purpose
We are looking for an experienced Fundraising Manager to -
Think proactively and strategically about fundraising opportunities in Devon and the South-West - Corporate, Individual Giving, Events.
Prioritise opportunities based on potential return-on-investment and build implementation plans.
Use their initiative to implement agreed fundraising tactics / tests.
Develop a range of tactics to make the most of a new donation platform.
Identify opportunities for mid/high level giving.
Search for and respond to trust / foundation / grant funding opportunities.
Develop and implement crowdfunding strategies & campaigns.
Manage and develop a simple / small CRM system.
Plan and implement supporter journeys.

Person Specification

Essential - Experience
Track record of setting up & running Corporate, Individual Giving and Events fundraising.
Enthusiastic, self-motivated, can-do attitude
Ability to think strategically.
Strong project management / delivery.
Commitment to social justice.
Understanding of budgeting & evaluation.

Desirable - Experience
Knowledge of the Devon / South-West fundraising environment.
Track record of securing trust / foundation / grant funding.

Terms of Appointment

Job title: Fundraising Manager

Responsible to: Director of Marketing & Sales

Contract type: Permanent

Location: Plymouth

Salary: Up to 30,000 (potentially more for the right candidate)

Working Hours: 35 hours

Annual Leave: 35 days including bank holidays (office also shuts down over Christmas)

Benefits: Pension
