Fundraising Manager

Harris Hill are very pleased to be working with a counselling charity to recruit a Fundraising Manager. This newly created position will facilitate the implementation of a new fundraising strategy and facilitate the roll out of fundraising activities across the organisation, and would suit an established fundraiser who is keen to make a real impact.

Key responsibilities will include;
+ Developing and implementing a fundraising strategy, campaigns and activity plan
+ Developing compelling cases for support and copy for appeals, applications and proposals
+ Cultivate long-term supporter and volunteer relationships to ensure ongoing support
+ Utilising a range of fundraising income streams to generate income for the charity, including trusts applications, direct marketing and personal fundraising techniques
+ Forecasting, monitoring fundraising performance and reporting, working closely with the Head of Finance and other senior team members as necessary.


The successful candidate will;
+ Be an experienced fundraiser able to deliver campaigns on or over target and within budget
+ Be able to project manage several projects simultaneously
+ Have strong research skills, able to find new trusts, supports, partners and volunteers to give continued support
+ Have strong written and verbal communications kills, and able to communicate effectively to a rage of audiences
+ Be able to manage financial data effectively, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting
