Fundraising Manager

Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a wonderful charity in Berkshire in their search for a Fundraising Manager in order to develop strategic and operational fundraising plans, manage the fundraising team and to secure long term relationships and funding.


This is an exciting opportunity for a confident Fundraising Manager who will lead a passionate and committed team of four to generate income from a varied portfolio of activities for the charity.
You will take primary responsibility for existing and new fundraising activities and initiatives and will work closely and collaboratively with the client and information services, training and Marcoms Teams ensuring a significant ROI is achieved.
A natural relationship builder, you will work across all areas of fundraising. The money you raise will enable us to improve the lives of people living with disability and long-term health conditions.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategy and Raising Funds

- Develop & deliver the charity's fundraising strategy and developing activities aligned with the strategy
- Lead on the strategy for the delivery of legacy, and a key supporting role for corporate partnerships and Major Donor programmes
- Play a key role in understanding the organisation's audiences and developing the donor journey
- Supporting the delivery and maintenance of the CRM


Stewardship & Engagement

- Manage relationships with key stakeholders
- Develop a culture of Stewardship/Relationship Management
- Identifying partnering opportunities
Team and People Management
- Provide line management to the fundraising team
- Prepare and implement annual objectives, delivery targets and budgets
- Monthly reporting

You will ideally have:
- Proven expertise in fundraising (in income growth) and relationship management
- Good understanding of digital media and the use of digital channels for fundraising marketing communications
- Track record of building successful relationships with corporate partners
- Experience of managing and developing a legacy programme
- Strategic thinker with the ability to cascade strategies through to operational plans and delivery schedules
- Strong knowledge of high value giving, corporate, trust and foundation fundraising with a sound understanding of how the sector works

Contract type: Permanent, full time (35hrs) or part time hours considered (28hrs). Hybrid working - will consider combination of remote and office work.
Salary: £35,000- £38,0000 per annum
