Fundraising Manager

Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a health charity in their search for a Fundraising Manager in order to create, develop and deliver a fundraising strategy to grow existing and new support across the charity local communities.

- You will take responsibility, and be accountable for, the operational running of the Community fundraising team and to actively encourage cross team working within the wider department - particularly the events and corporate fundraising teams.
- You will be responsible for a financial accountability for the setting, reforecasting and ongoing management of income and expenditure budgets.
- You will provide leadership and development to the team. Be a positive role model, motivating and facilitating personal and professional growth and progression where possible.
- You will lead the team in establishing effective relationships with diverse organisations, businesses, professional bodies and other fundraising groups, with a view to developing beneficial and lasting networks with the community, continually raising the profile of the charity.
Ideally you will have:
- Experience in a fundraising role, or equivalent target driven role,
- Proven experience of developing strategies, bringing a fresh approach, and demonstrating accountability.
- A thorough understanding of the local community and motivations for giving.
- Demonstrable experience of leading, managing, motivating and inspiring a team of a similar size, and the ability to demonstrate collaborative working.
- Experience of creating, managing, and reforecasting income and expenditure budgets.
- An ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure deadlines are met.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A professional and accountable approach with the desire and commitment to continuously improve.
- A positive and flexible approach, combined with process driven and practicality.
- A thorough understanding of fundraising databases, fundraising regulation, GDPR and other associated regulatory requirements.


Salary: £32,030 - £37,020
Location: Worthing or Eastbourne, hybrid work 1 day in the office
Deadline: 28th April at 8am
