Fundraising Manager - Institutional

Job description

I am working with the Human Rights charity Videre who have a brand-new requirement for an experienced institutional fundraiser to join the on a permanent basis.


Videre works with oppressed communities in some of the world's most hard-to-access areas, equipping networks of local activists and community leaders with the technology and training to safely capture compelling visual evidence of political violence, human rights violations and systemic abuses. With the ability to transcend language and focus attention, we then put this visual evidence in the hands of those that can secure accountability and justice.


The organisation is seeking an experienced, hands-on fundraising professional to prospect, cultivate and steward donor relationships. The Fundraising Manager will be a strong conceptual and strategic thinker, and an excellent writer who will work closely with colleagues to develop accurate, compelling and persuasive funding applications and reports for all areas of our work. This is a newly created position that will play a key role in shaping our fundraising strategy aligned with our organisational strategy for 2020-2022.
You will need to have:

A track record of managing donor relationships and securing funding from a range of donors.
Exceptional writing skills, with the capacity to write for different audiences and on topics with which you may not be a technical expert.
Experience with fundraising, organisational and programme budgets.
Demonstrable knowledge of European and US institutional donor trends, strategies and initiatives.
