Fundraising Officer
Hours: 22.5 hours a week, part-time
Salary 30,000 (Pro-rata for part-time based on 37.5)
Based in Rugby & homeworking
The post holder will be motivated by their Christian faith

Harris Hill is delighted to be working with an important charity which provides a dedicated and professional Christian chaplaincy service to the railway industry.

The charity is seeking a Fundraising Officer to build on the organisation's success by increasing personal giving and industry support. The post holder will play a vital role in helping to develop the Individual Giving income stream as well as raising funds from church and railway companies, and developing other areas of fundraising.

This is a role for a highly motivated team player who enjoys and can evidence managing several projects and activities at once and can communicate well with supporters, suppliers and colleagues

Main duties and Responsibilities:
- Fundraising, specifically through Individual Giving and from Trusts and Industry Partners
- Helping with the production of communications
- Collaborating with colleagues across the charity

You will have the following skills and experience:
- Fundraising experience
- Ability to write in a compelling manner
- Managing income and expenditure budgets and working to targets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including excellent telephone manner
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines
