Fundraising Officer

Job description

A great opportunity has arisen for a Fundraising Officer for a lovely charity dedicated to supporting older people.
As Fundraising Officer, you will play a vital role in a small busy team, providing the highest standards of supporter care to those who donate to or fundraise for the charity. You will be responsible for the majority of the fundraising administration and for all income from individuals, which includes our regular donors, legacy supporters, eventers and our Christmas appeal. You will work with our homes and services to enhance their fundraising, and use our ThankQ database to ensure that accurate records are kept and donations are processed efficiently.

Contract type: Permanent
Location: London, flexible working available
Salary: 31,0000 per annum, 35 hrs per week

Person specification:
Working in an office environment
Managing own workload and working to deadlines
Handling data, numbers and reporting
Working with database software.
Experience of financial administration
Excellent communication skills with diverse range of people
Good computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and database
Good attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Organised and efficient with ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
Sensitivity to the needs of older people.
Self-motivation.
