Fundraising Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a fundraising Officer to join an ambitious, international medical charity based in London in order to significantly increase the voluntary income (primarily unrestricted) through the development and management of mid-value fundraising appeals, stewarding mid-level donors, regular donors, and fundraising committees with some event support.

As a Fundraising Officer you will be developing excellent relationships with the charity fundraising committees and regular donors. You will work in conjunction with a small dedicated team in London to provide fundraising, communications, and events support to two dedicated community fundraising groups.

In order to be successful, you must have experienced in community and events fundraising and commitment to the highest standards of volunteer and supporter care, be able to demonstrable record of building trusted, long term relationships with fundraising volunteers and achieving income targets. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also key, alongside influencing skills able to use tact and diplomacy to develop effective working relationships both internally and externally.

This a permanent role based in London, near Barbican station with a hybrid working 3 days in the office.
