Fundraising Officer Acquisition (part-time)

Job description

A great opportunity has arisen for a temporary Fundraising Officer Acquisition (part-time, 3 days a week) for leading humanitarian and international development charity in order to cover period of approximately 2 months.

This post is responsible for:

Planning and implementing campaigns and supporter journeys that recruit new supporters to the charity.
Working with internal teams as well as partner agencies and organisations to deliver fundraising campaigns.
Ensuring supporters have the best possible experience of supporting the charity, whether in our marketing communications, in person at events, or in response to their requests and queries.
To manage fundraising appeals in response to humanitarian emergencies.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Responsible for the planning and delivery of supporter acquisition campaigns across a range of products and media, in line with planned budgets and targets, ensuring campaign deadlines are met and opportunities for learning are maximised.
Manage and monitor budgets and non-financial KPIs for each area of responsibility, including reconciling and reporting on progress and reforecasting for own areas.
Evaluate and analyse results for each area of responsibility and take forward learnings to improve results.
Ensure that we use digital channels as the primary way of achieving our objectives whenever possible and appropriate, and that it is integrated into all we do for maximum effect.
Contribute to the planning and budgeting process for the Acquisition team, taking responsibility for discrete parts of the programme and taking a lead in reviewing, reporting and re-forecasting plans as appropriate.
Analyse campaign performance and use that analysis to inform campaign planning and decision making. Responsible for presenting results to internal and external stakeholders.
Work with the relevant internal teams to collate, brief and undertake analysis that contributes to the objectives of the Acquisition team and wider DM team.
Manage relationships with external stakeholders to develop and deliver effective campaigns.

In order to apply you should have the following skills and experience:
Current legislation and best practice guidelines with regards to fundraising and working with volunteers.
Proven experience of delivering large scale fundraising or marketing campaigns across a range of media or products, preferably including delivering marketing plans to achieve recruitment targets.

Ability to
