Fundraising Officer: Community (London or Cardiff)

Job description

Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a mental health charity based in their search for a Fundraising Officer: Community x 2 in order to support the delivery of fundraising activity and creating a great supporter experience for the charity participants ensuring our supporters are at the heart of everything this fantastic charity do.

This role can be based in London or Cardiff ,
Contract type: 1x Permanent 1 x 1 year FTC; hybrid working , 2 days a week in the office

Salary:
London: 31,065- 35,606 Inc. LW
Cardiff: 29,426.5- 33,967.5 Inc CW

Deadline : ASAP

You will play a pivotal role in the Community and Events Fundraising team reaching and exceeding their target of circa 10.8 million NET income by 2024.
You will project manage fundraising activity and supporter journeys from beginning to end, delivering them on time and in line with annual plans and budget. You will analyse and produce evaluation reports reporting against budget, and interpreting these results to inform future activity and contribute towards the annual planning of the team.

You will ideally have:

Experience and a proven track record of managing volunteers to undertake a fundraising activity and exceed their targets.
A commitment to understanding the charity s audiences and delivering a memorable fundraising experiences through excellent marketing and stewardship.
Experience of monitoring and reporting on live activities proactively
Excellent project management skills
Strong interpersonal skills to build authentic and effective relationships with participants.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to deal with people at all levels and in all walks of life, on the telephone, face-to-face and in written communication, in fluent English.
A strong influencer who is able to encourage participants to exceed fundraising targets
