Grants Officer

Job description

I am currently looking for two experienced and enthusiastic Grants Officers. This exciting 6-month (FTC) opportunity will see you working for an amazing national charity supporting vulnerable people.
Reporting to the Grants Manager you will provide effective administrative support to the charity's grantees and potential grantees, ensuring the effective administration of grants.
Main duties:
To act as the day-to-day point of contact between the Foundation's grantees, potential grantees and the Foundation
To work with the Grants Manager, administering the Foundation's grant making programme across England, Wales and Scotland.
Responsibility for accepting and processing initial applications
Assisting in making arrangements for meetings including issuing papers and taking minutes where necessary.
To administer relationships with grantees including:
Managing the administration of new grants along with the Foundation's existing portfolio of grants.
Responsibility for grant payment administration.
Assisting the Grants Manager in drafting reports to the CEO, Board of Trustees, Ministry of Justice and other stakeholders
Maintaining quality data records on grant activity and relationships with charities, primarily via the Foundation database
Assisting the Grants Manager and Data Manager in the preparation and compilation of reports and statistics.

2. Excellent verbal and written communication and skills
3. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
4. Accuracy and attention to detail
5. Strong organisational and project management skills
