Head of Data, Insight and Evidence

Job description

I am delighted to be working with an amazing children's charity in search of a Head of Data, Insight and Evidence (37hr week). This role is to provide a high-quality responsive service to colleagues across the charity ensuring their data, information/insight and evidence needs are met in line with priorities.
 
Main duties:
To project manage the process of own work, colleagues and virtual task/finish teams.
To fulfil the function of Professional Lead for service user data, electronic casefile and management information systems.
To ensure those systems generate the contractually required performance information for commissioners and grant givers (and is provided routinely to local and area managers).
To fulfil the role of Lead person responsible for the charity Outcomes and Impact framework.
 
Performance Fundamentals:
The charity has identified three performance fundamentals applicable to all roles in the organisation:

Managing Resources
Performance Indicators - contributing toward achieving against the Annual Charity Plan
 
Knoweledge:
Knowledge and understanding of the following in a services context: Safeguarding, Health & Safety, Equality & Diversity, Data Protection. Awareness of the key legislative and regulatory frameworks that the charities service delivery activities are subject to (inc. Ofsted, HMIP)
