I am working on behalf of a leading membership body who has a new vacancy for a Head of Development on a permanent basis

The Head of Development will lead on all fundraising matters, with a broad range and knowledge of income generation and development. The post holder will identify and design major projects in order to support the organisations strategic objectives.

The post-holder will ensure the organisation formulates and implements a development strategy, incorporating fundraising and commercial development (including appropriate fundraising communications, prospect lists, marketing outputs and fundraising timelines).

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and have the ability to build good working relationships with other departments, and people at all levels, across the organisation. In addition, you will have a proven track record of successful major gift fundraising, or commercial development and experience of successful strategy development and implementation.

This vacancy will close on the 1st of May with interviews to be held on the 13th of May.
