Head of Digital

Job description

The charity is entering an exciting phase of development as they move to implement their new strategy. Digital presence through the website and social media and across third party channels is going to be crucial to these efforts and they're seeking an experienced Head of Digital to take responsibility for these areas and drive things forward.  

As Head of Digital you'll play a full role in helping the organisation as a whole transform itself into a switched-on, digital savvy organisation and to lead, mentor and coach the Digital Team to become a producer of rich, informative, and impactful content, as well as making the case for further investment in digital skills and development across the organisation.   

This role will suit you if you are comfortable working in a fluid, evolving climate; thrive on change; and are a flexible, resourceful person who knows how to partner with people to get things done. You'll have a broad knowledge of digital approaches, including content design, analytics and SEO and a track record of delivering significant improvements to digital services, through taking a user-centred and data-driven approach. It's also essential that you have the ability to lead, mentor and inspire and have previous experience in managing digital teams and further developing their skills and expertise.
