Global Non-Profit | Strategic Leadership | International Scope I am delighted to be working with a respected international NGO to find a dynamic Head of Finance, initially on a 6-month fixed term contract. This is a pivotal leadership role supporting global financial strategy and operations across multiple regions, with an immediate start, London based hybrid role (4 days per month in the office).
The opportunity: Reporting into the Finance Director, this role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership of regional and country-level finance teams. You’ll drive performance, strengthen systems, and act as a trusted advisor to both finance and programme leads across the organisation.
Key focus areas:
Strategic financial planning, budgeting and analysis
Building strong relationships with donors, partners and internal stakeholders
Enhancing systems, reporting tools, and financial processes
About you:
Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
Proven track record in financial leadership, ideally in complex, international environments
Strong people manager with cross-cultural experience
Adept at balancing strategic thinking with operational delivery
NGO or donor-funded experience is a strong plus
Must have the right to work in your current location
