Head of Fundraising

Job description

Harris Hill are delighted to be supporting a health technology charity to recruit their new Head of Fundraising.

2024 is going to be an important year for this organisation, so they are looking for an experienced fundraiser to lead their 60th year celebrations and capital appeal. You will lead a team of 3 fundraisers and an administrator across all income streams with a particular focus on Trusts and Major gifts. 

 Key skills and experience will include;

  • Being an experienced fundraising professional
  • Having a track record of managing an effective fundraising function, meeting and exceeding targets
  • Experience of fundraising through trusts and major gifts, including gifts in wills
  • Experience of launching and overseeing large capital appeals
  • Strong leadership and management skills, and motivating a small fundraising team;
  • Excellent relationship building and networking skills, comfortable presenting to various audiences;
  • Experience within health/healthcare sector is desirable.

This is a hybrid working role, with a salary on offer of £50,000-£60,000 dependent on experience.
