Head of Fundraising & Communications

I am delighted to partnering with the inspirational youth charity LIFEbeat in their search for a new Head of Fundraising & Communications

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic, experienced and entrepreneurial fundraiser to join a growing charity.

The charity's mission is to improve the emotional wellbeing of young people giving them the skills and inspiration to overcome the challenges they face, to navigate the divisions in society and to lead confident, healthy and purposeful lives. They do this through programmes that develop four key qualities: Self -esteem, Emotional intelligence, Social skills and Resilience. 

As part of the senior management team, the appointed person will play a key role in the leadership and direction of LIFEbeat.


A large focus for the postholder will be to develop and execute the LIFEbeat fundraising strategy to create reliable and diversified revenue streams from: Trusts and Foundations, Patrons and Individual Donors, Community Fund Sponsors and Corporate Funders.


To be considered for this opportunity you must have experience in major gifs fundraising-with a focus on Trusts. You will have experience of developing and managing budgets and operating plans, setting and achieving fundraising targets.


Ideally the charity would like this role to be fulltime based at their office in Central London. However, they would be happy to hear from applicants that need flexible working arrangements, based in the South West of England or candidates looking for 4 days per week.


LIFEbeat is a people-focused, passionate organisation that works to support young people across the UK. It would be beneficial if you have an interest in work with teenagers. As a small organisation, they are also looking for a candidate with a positive, self-motivated attitude and the ability to think creatively. Good interpersonal skills and an ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team will be essential to the success of this role.
