Head of Fundraising and Communications

Job description

An opportunity has arisen for a Head of Fundraising and Communications based in London on an initial one year contract, to lead on the strategic direction of the charity's fundraising to help achieve the organisations overall aims.

Key responsibilities will include:
-Deliver the organisations fundraising strategy
-Lead on researching prospective sources of funding, including: charitable trusts and grants and corporate funders
-Writing high quality funding applications as well as managing the charity's corporate partnerships
-Develop and deliver the charity's communications strategy

In order to apply for this position, you should have the following skills and experience:
-Significant experience within fundraising
-Line management experience
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
-Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills
-Ability to build strong relationships
