Harris Hill is recruiting a Head of Fundraising for Scotland on behalf of a national charity working to improve the lives of vulnerable children across the UK. This organisation have provided care and support service to children for over 100 years and are one of the country's leading charities that campaigns for children's rights and influence's policy that affect's children.

The charity have a vacancy for a Head of Fundraising for Scotland to provide leadership to the fundraising team and to maximise fundraising opportunities across a broad mix of fundraising income streams. The charity are very active in Scotland and this role will play a significant part in the supporting the many programmes they run and influencing policy that positively impacts the lives of Scotland's children and young people.

Based in Glasgow this position has responsibility for the development and implementation of a fundraising strategy working in close conjunction with the Director of Fundraising and the Regional Director for Scotland. In addition they will also provide support and leadership to an existing fundraising team and promote a culture of ambition and collaboration.

The role has overall responsibility for corporate, major donor, trusts & foundations and community & events income streams with this position taking full responsibility for the development and management of relationships with high net worth individuals.

The organisation are keen to identify a candidate with a previous and continual track record of achievement in the development of portfolio's with corporate, high net worth individuals, trusts and community/events. The successful individual will need to have previous experience of leading a fundraising team across multiple income steams or or one of the previously mentioned income streams.

The role requires an individual with a strategic outlook with a knowledge and understanding of how to successfully devise and implement a fundraising strategy for the region. They'll need to have strong relationship building skills with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
