Christians Against Poverty is a dynamic and growing charity with a clear vision, award-winning culture and passionate workforce. Christians Against Poverty exist to equip the local Church to serve the poor and reach the lost in their community.

CAP offer a highly effective collection of services which enables them to break through the crippling spiral of poverty, isolation and stress evident across the UK. In its place, they deliver hope, peace and freedom through their excellent and compassionate service.

Christians Against Poverty offer debt advice through their network of Debt Centres, assistance finding employment through Job Clubs, and valuable tools for living through Life Skills. By offering these services in partnership with the Church, they also see over 1,000 people a year come to know Jesus and find belonging in the church family.

Christians Against Poverty are looking for a Head of Organisational Development to join the team on a permanent basis.

Christians Against Poverty - Head of Organisational Development

Location: At least 2 days in the Head Office (Bradford) and 3 days remote working

Salary: Circa £41,086 per annum plus excellent benefits

Contract: Permanent

The Head of Organisational Development ('OD') is an exciting opportunity at a pivotal time for CAP. The OD function is a new area, incorporating change management, internal communication and data analysis specifically relating to HR, learning and culture. The remit of this role is organisation wide and will be responsible for leading a team to influence key projects and programs, with a distinct focus on the people impact of change and communication. Using data analysis to enable excellent people strategies and decisions, the Head of OD will bring greater insight to the organisation. This role will be highly collaborative across CAP's leadership team, working closely with the Head of Strategy & Insight, as well as the Heads of People Operations and Learning & Engagement respectively.

The successful candidate will have experience of leadership in an OD or HRD role. You will have the knowledge and skills of building people strategies within a complex organisation, along with experience of change management strategies. Due to the values of this organisation this vacancy is open to practicing Christians only (exempt under the Equality Act 2010 Schedule 9, Part 1).
