Harris Hill is delighted to be assisting a wonderful sustainable food and living charity, in the search for a new Head of Philanthropy and Development.

Industrial animal agriculture is at the root of many of the most pressing global matters of our time, from climate change and global famine to antibiotic development and the exploitation of billions of animal livestock. This organisation is at the forefront of the movement to use food technology and markets to replace the products of industrial animal agriculture with plant-based and cultivated alternatives.

The charity is looking for an experienced HOP&D to join their expanding team. The postholder will be in command of all the company's European operations. The crux of the role is to maintain and maximise long term net income by managing the relationship and partnership fundraising team. In conjunction with this, the role requires you to produce and implement a fundraising plan for the coming year. Throughout your time in the role you will need to continually monitor financial performance and keep an eye out for any new marketing opportunities.
To be considered for this role you will need to be well versed in building and managing relationships with current and future donors. Significant experience of successful fundraising from donors. Demonstrable excellent written communication skills and project management skills.
If you would like to receive a full job specification for this role or have a confidential conversation, please send your cv to natalie.lawford@harrishill.co.uk or call Natalie at Harris Hill on 0207 820 7336.

This is a rolling recruitment so early applications are encouraged.

Only suitable candidates will be contacted.

We look forward to hearing from you.
