Harris Hill is excited to be partnering with Future Advocacy in their search for a Head of Thinktank to lead their programme on the social, economic and political impacts of artificial intelligence and other emerging tech.

This is a newly created position in a growing and ambitious organisation, where the postholder will have broad responsibilities across research, external affairs and programme and project management. Moreover, you will build a strong global network of business leaders, computer scientists, academics and NGOs to increase the reach and influence of Future Advocacy. On an organisational level, you will develop and lead a strategy for the thinktank and be a thought leader on AI and emerging tech within the team

As such, you will have a strong understanding of the social, economic and political impact of AI and other emerging tech, and a technical understanding of computer science, AI and/or coding is desirable. You will also have a track record of advocacy and policy influencing at a senior level, with an at least 5 years' demonstrable track record of quantitative and qualitative research.

This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for a policy, advocacy and research professional to take ownership of an increasingly influential position in an increasingly influential organisation.
