Job description

I am delighted to be working with an amazing international humanitarian charity, we are looking for an Interim HR Advisor to support the HR team with an upcoming organisation wide restructure process.

Main duties:
Holding 1 to 1 consultation meetings with staff at risk of redundancy
Holding group consultation meetings with staff as appropriate
Redundancy pay calculations
Writing follow up letters to staff at risk, after their 1 to 1 consultation meetings
Writing redundancy letters
Organising redeployment interviews
Answering questions and advising staff and managers around the restructure process, in line with the charity's UK policies, best practice and current UK employment law.
Liaising with the Union Representatives and Staff Representatives about the restructure as appropriate
Reviewing job descriptions of roles associated with the restructure.

Skills and experience:
Extensive hands on HR experience of supporting and facilitating restructure processes
Up to date knowledge of current employment legislation, in particular around restructures
Experience of working with Union and Staff Representatives
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentations to groups
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Charity sector experience.
