HR Officer

Job description

We’re looking for a proactive HR Officer to join a small but business-critical HR team within a leading international organisation. This office-based role offers part-time hours (2–3 days per week) and the chance to provide a comprehensive HR service across the employee lifecycle — from recruitment and onboarding to HR systems, reporting, training, and offboarding.

HR Officer (part-time), 6-month fixed term contract

Office-based in Rugby
£33,000 per annum FTE + benefits
2–3 days per week

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding

  • Coordinate inductions, probation reviews and leaver processes

  • Maintain HR systems and produce reports/metrics

  • Provide payroll data and monitor absences

  • Oversee training and development activity

  • Ensure compliance and support HR best practice

About you:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a generalist HR role

  • CIPD Level 3 (or working towards)

  • Confident IT user (MS Office; HRIS experience, ideally Cezanne)

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisation

  • Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels
