HR People Advisor

Job description

I am currently working with a fantastic children's charity based in South-West London in the aim of placing their next HR Advisor. The successful candidate will contribute and help create an inspiring place to work through effective HR solutions, best practise and interventions. To provide a high performing service and oversee the life cycle of our people throughout their journey at the charity.

Key responsibilities
To act as referral point of contact for all HR matters where Line Managers determine need.
Providing a professional and efficient HR service specifically on disciplinary & grievances, application of terms and conditions of employment, absence management, HR policies and procedures, employment law and pay and benefits.
Manage employee relations case load adhering at all times to company policy and legal parameters.
Support the Managers in both long term and short term intermittent absence.
Support with the annual salary review, evaluation, benchmarking and proposals for salary adjustments and exceptional payments.
To maintain accurate employee information and ensure regular deliveries of management information and key performance indicators.

Person specification
Qualified CIPD level 5/7
Good working knowledge of employment legislation and the regulatory framework for employment in the UK
Proven knowledge of HR business partnering concepts
The ability to communicate information clearly and tactfully, and of supporting managers in managing their teams
Excellent time management and the ability to effectively prioritise tasks to meet required deadlines
The ability to work flexibly and cooperatively within a team
Strong IT and numeracy skills with the ability to present reports and statistics accurately and to handle information in line with GDPR requirement.
