Do you provide technical support for HR System users?

Do you have the experience to resolve technical and non-technical support queries received by the helpdesk?

If you can say yes to the above, you could hit the ground running as the new HR Systems and Information Officer...we would love to hear from you!

We are extremely proud to be working alongside an amazing charity that works tirelessly to support veterans and serving members of our armed forces.

As the new HR Systems and Information Officer, your ability to support the maintenance and development of the charity's HR Systems could have a real impact on people's lives.

You will be responsible for supporting the iTrent HR and Payroll solution and other HR Systems, dealing with user queries, investigating and resolving problems and providing training, advice and guidance to users of the HR systems as required.
You will also be involved in updating the configuration of the systems, rolling out new modules and systems to the user base. You will be involved in the upgrade process for the systems, including testing the new release before the go live of the new release and on the night checking that the upgrade has worked.

If you are successful, the main duties of your role will be:

- Ensure that the HR Systems (iTrent, Document Logistix, Business Objects, Employee rewards solution and online DBS solution) remain operational.
- Provide support to all HR System users; both internal (employees) and external (web recruitment users) daily, particularly those within the HR and Payroll/Pensions teams.
- Resolve technical and non-technical support queries received via the Helpdesk.
- Investigate and document reported systems issues, resolving where possible and referring to the HR Systems Manager or external provider where necessary.
- Liaise with external systems providers to resolve system queries and support system upgrades.
- Create and maintain training documentation including training videos for all HR systems.
- Deliver training for staff in the use of the systems on a group or 1:1 basis.
- Carry out audit checks on data input to check the accuracy of information on the databases.
- Produce Management Information reports as required.

Knowledge & Experience Required
- Demonstrable experience of working in a HR and/or Payroll systems support role, (experience of MHR iTrent would be an advantage)
- Excellent IT skills - Outlook, Word, Access, MS SharePoint and Advanced Excel
- Experience of working with reporting tools (such as Business Objects) and providing accurate and meaningful data
- Demonstrable experience of effective data analysis
- Experience of liaising and working with internal/external clients
- Experience of delivering training, preferably IT systems related
- Experience of creating user friendly training documentation including video guides

Good Luck. We look forward to your application :)
