An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the leading national charity for bereaved people in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Their mission is to offer support, advice and information to children, young people and adults when someone dies and to enhance societies care of bereaved people and believe that all bereaved people should have somewhere to turn when someone dies. Their new strategy aims to help even more people in a way that people want it.

Cruse Bereavement Care offers support face to face, by phone, email and online. Their services are provided by their network of 5,000 trained volunteers and are confidential and free. Cruse also provides training and consultancy for external organisations and for those who may encounter bereaved people in the course of their work.

As part of their exciting new strategy, Cruse is recruiting nine regional Hub Managers in various locations across the UK. Including London, South East, South West, Eastern England, East Midlands, West Midlands, Yorkshire, North West England and Northern Ireland.

Cruse Bereavement Care - Regional Hub Manager

Locations: West Midlands - covering Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Rugby, Sandwell and Walsall, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Wolverhampton and Worcestershire.

Salary: circa £33,000 + benefits

Contract: Permanent

This exciting new role will lead the transformation of the delivery model of high-quality bereavement support across their region (hub). Responsibilities will include high quality service delivery, staff and volunteer management, local stakeholder engagement, planning and performance, and monitoring service provision.

Cruse is looking for people who thrive on managing positive change, leading innovative high performing services and supporting volunteers to deliver vital support.

The roles will either be based in a local Cruse office or home based within the region. The post holder will need to be able to travel easily within their region.
