A great opportunity has arisen for an Individual Fundraising Manager for a charity based in Hertfordshire. This will be a permanent contract with a possibility to work from home.


Salary: 30,000- 35,000

Key responsibilities:

Work with fundraising and clinical colleagues to develop, implement and refine a plan for in-memory acquisition, retention and development, including digital, offline and clinical engagement
Lead and plan the delivery of all elements of the Forget-Me-Not and Lights of Love in-memoriam services, including securing venues (digital and face to face), invitations and appeal, promotion and post campaign analysis
Develop, deliver and monitor campaign plans to raise income from individual giving activity including digital (social media, online, contactless and SMS), weekly lottery and regular giving/Sponsor a Nurse
Work with Local Hospice Lottery to maximise income from the Weekly Lottery from existing members and acquiring new supporters via social media, online and internal opportunities
Working with the Supporter Care, Database and Marketing teams, lead on the development of bespoke supporter journeys based on recency and supporters interests to maximise engagement and income
Develop, deliver, monitor and refine the legacy marketing strategy and operational plan to recruit new legacy pledgers through the Free Will scheme, a legacy conversation training programme and a network of volunteers
Introduce a legacy stewardship programme including tailored supporter journeys and bespoke events to keep pledgers engaged with the charity and strengthen their support
Work with the Database team to ensure legacy engagement segmentation is recorded and updated on Raiser s Edge to allow improved analysis and targeting of future acquisition and development activity

Person specification:

Significant individual or direct marketing fundraising experience
To have a track record of delivering successful fundraising campaigns
To have significant experience of end to end planning of integrated in memory or other direct marketing campaigns
To have budgetary knowledge and attention to detail in creating and reviewing budgets
To have experience of negotiating with colleagues and external contacts
Excellent communication skills, written and oral
Ability to prioritise own workload and work to deadlines under pressure
Good interpersonal and relationship building skills
Sound knowledge of GDPR
Good negotiation skills
Good numeracy skills
Sound IT skills in standard Microsoft packages
