Individual Giving Manager

Job description

Children's charity is seeking an Individual Giving Manager to develop, implement and oversee the supporter development strategy and programme which will increase retention, maximise the lifetime value of supporters and the long-term sustainable net income

Key responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and development of the supporter retention and development strategy
- Work with IG management colleagues as well as colleagues across Fundraising and Marketing to develop an integrated approach to supporter journeys which provides an excellent supporter experience
- Regular monitoring and evaluation of campaign activity against budgets, key objectives and KPIs
- Budget planning, setting, phasing and reporting, ensuring annual income & expenditure targets are met and financial and reputational risk to the business minimised

Skills and experience:
- Substantial direct marketing experience, ideally gained in a large
organisation, and a strong understanding of Individual Giving fundraising,
with a track-record of success
- Experience of planning, implementing and evaluating Individual Giving
campaigns across a wide range of media
- Understanding of how to effectively manage and motivate direct reports
- Experience of developing and managing project budgets
