Individual Giving Officer

Job description

Harris Hill is working with a national charity, in their search for an interim Individual Giving Officer with potential temp to perm transfer.

The initial temp role will be for 12 weeks on a full time basis. The role is an immediate start, so please only apply if you are available within the next week or so.

Whilst the role is a broad direct marketing role, the emphasis in the 12 weeks will include:


Delivery of the charity's Christmas Appeal to supporters (including data selection, drafting copy, briefing design and liaison with print / fulfilment partner)
Delivery of the charity's Christmas shop (online via Shopify) selling cards, notelets and charity merchandise
BBC Radio 4 Appeal production
Festival of St Cecilia(Annual donors/ambassadors physical event)
Work with Comms team to produce events' collateral

Experience:
At least 2 years' experience in a similar role in the charity sector
A proven track record in individual giving - growing support in terms of income and supporter base volumes
A successful track record in executing IG fundraising plans to deliver strategic objectives
Demonstrable understanding of best practice supporter relationships
Experience of analysis of relationship potential within CRM systems and working with a supporter database to manage data and report performance
Understanding of segmentation and how to speak to different (existing and prospect) audiences.
Track record of developing content, creative and messaging resonates with these audiences to drive awareness and engagement
Proven ability to work collaborative and cross-functionally
Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
Proven ability to show initiative and flexibility in a fast-changing environment
