Interim Digital Marketing Manager

Job description

A great opportunity has arisen for an Interim Digital Marketing Manager in order to develop and successfully implement the charity s digital and content strategy across web, mobile and email channels with the aim of building member, stakeholder and partner communities and driving engagement through targeted, informative and valued content.
This will be a temporary contract for approximately 3-6 months and could go permanent.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Manage the charity s website and the associated Apps, email campaigns, online advertising, mobile, video and webinars.
Coordinate the delivery of web-based services with other team members (social media, content etc.) to develop, implement, and analyse digital campaigns to meet Marketing objectives and to support other departments objectives.
Create concepts and layouts for engaging, optimised and high conversion webpages and create (or edit) and post targeted website copy, visuals and other content in accordance with the Marketing content plan.
Scope, manage and deliver projects to support the ongoing development of the website and other digital channels as directed.
Manage the relationship with the website service provider and other third party providers as required.
Ensure legal and regulatory compliance with regard to privacy, data protection, rights management, copyright and any other relevant legislation as directed by the Data officer.
Ensure compliance with regards to User Experience (UX) and accessibility guidelines.
Manage other external websites/microsites run by the organisation for partners
Manage website and lead on digital elements of Marketing support
Develop and use digital marketing techniques including e-marketing, search marketing (organic and paid), SEO, Google Analytics and other tools to optimise acquisition, engagement and retention of constituents.
Maintain a high level of knowledge of current developments in digital and web-based service capabilities and of related tools and skills.

In order to apply you should have the following skills and experience:

Project Management qualification (Prince 2 or AMP).
Proven experience of creating original content relevant to different audience that adheres to SEO best practice.
Demonstrable experience of managing digital projects, including developing/upgrading/re-platforming websites and, Apps.
Proven experience of Website Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
Development, delivery and optimisation of paid search campaigns and emailing campaigns.
Hands on experience of designing, delivering and measuring marketing campaigns with aim of: growing communities; increasing engagement; delivering knowledge or content based products; utilising both digital and non-digital channels.
Demonstrable verbal and written communications experience (both internal and external).
Demonstrable experience of Photoshop or similar programmes and of using Excel and other Microsoft Office programmes.
Confident, self-motivated and proactive with ability to use initiative, tact and diplomacy and take responsibility for delivering targets and achieving success.
Well organised with strong planning skills and possess the ability to prioritise and multitask.
Ability to thrive in a challenging fast paced and target driven environment.
Innovative and creative.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent team player and listener with good sense of humour.
Demonstrable track record of continuous professional development and awareness of latest marketing technologies and trends.
Knowledge of digital trends, latest web applications (including mobile) and best practice in digital communications.
Understanding of best practice in website usability, user experience and accessibility.
Understanding of creating content relevant to different audiences.
Knowledge of best practice in conversion optimisation, web analytics and other measurement tools.
Knowledge of HTML and use of web CMS, Salesforce and Salesforce Applications.
Knowledge of email marketing tools and platforms.
