Calling all IT Operations Managers!
Are you an IT Operations Manager looking for their next opportunity?

I am delighted to be working alongside an amazing well established charity in search of an IT Operations Manager to support two charities on a 3 - 4 month FTC. Between the two organisations there are approximately 85 staff over three venues. Staff working remotely from home will also require IT support from you.
You will be responsible for managing the overall IT systems and requirements for the two organisations, and the relationship with all IT related suppliers and outsourced services, as well as line managing a first line IT engineer.
As the IT Operations Manager you will be jointly employed by the two charities. The Facilities Manager will provide day-to-day line management. However, you will be expected to work with representatives of each charity to establish and meet the individual needs of each organisation. It is important to understand that each of the two charities occupying the building may have very different IT needs and that they operate as independent identities.

Essential skills and experience:
Proven experience as IT Operations Manager
Experience with system installation, configuration, analysis
Knowledge of data protection operations and legislation (eg GDPR)
Experience of managing Office365 systems
Network Management (firewall routing and switching)
VMWare experience
Interact with and read code
Knowledge of Cloud Management
Budget setting experience
