Legacy Administration Officer

Job description

A charity based in London are looking for a legacy administration officer. The successful candidate will be doing Administration of legacies, ensuring that the charity receives its full entitlement from all gifts left in a Will.
Key Responsible
Responsible for administering a case load of pecuniary, specific, life interest 20 and residuary legacies, to ensure that the charity receives its full entitlement from all bequests and maximising their value wherever possible.
Represent and protect the interests of the charity in all correspondence and 20 deal appropriately with legal professionals and members of the public,answering queries as required. Report or refer any significant decisions that are required to Head of Legal Services.
Assist with financial, legacy and other reports and spreadsheets as required
Person specification
Proven experience in Legacy Administration (ILM CICLA/willingness to undertake training)
Sound knowledge of Wills, Probate and Trust law
Highly organised and able to demonstrate experience of managing and prioritising own caseload
Able to demonstrate ability to analyse, make decisions and problem solve
Meticulous attention to detail
Numerate and computer literate
