Harris Hill are delighted to help a national disability charity, find a Major Donor Fundraiser to cover a 6 month contract, whilst permanent recruitment takes place.

Overall purpose of post:
This post, within the Philanthropy team, will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Major Donors, strengthening the Philanthropy programme, contributing to its development and increasing income from this source.

The key roles for the Major Donor Fundraising Manager are:
Grow a pipeline of Major Donors with potential to give between 5,000 and 100,000 per annum and support a range of projects
Cultivate, steward and solicit gifts from a pipeline of Major Donors with potential to give between 5,000 and 100,000 per annum and support a range of projects
Support the entire team in delivering the Philanthropy team fundraising strategy and financial target

As this is an interim role and the fact that the JD is being re-evaluated for permanent, we are looking for someone who has a background in fundraising, particularly within Major Donor but also will consider Trust or Corporate as the team integrates across these areas.
The role will include the account management of current donors with some new business. The client will be open for the successful candidate to apply for the permanent role.
