Marketing and Communications Executive

Job description

A great opportunity has arisen for a Marketing and Communications Executive for a social enterprise in order to plan and implement communications and marketing campaigns to raise awareness of the range of services offered by the charity, while progressively improving organisational understanding of what works for different audiences. This will be a permanent role based in central London

Key Responsibilities will include:

Deliver agreed marketing and communications outputs in a timely manner
Produce, edit and distribute updates and materials for external and internal audiences, dealing sensitively with those whose personal experiences might be featured
Consult with internal teams to gather information and create cohesive designed material that reflects our external messaging and brand
Provide communications support for campaigns, presentations, key clients and projects
Provide marketing and communications for our events portfolio, corporate events and key anniversaries
Manage delegate marketing and communications from start to finish and ensure event materials are produced and distributed accordingly
Administer the marketing and communications plan on a day to day basis
Research and source relevant material
Maintain library system for press cuttings. Monitor cuttings and reports
Maintain social media accounts - key accounts for the charity are Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn & Instagram
Produce multi-media communications materials
Provide regular reports and analytics on social media campaigns to deliver continuous improvement
Create awards submissions where needed


In order to apply you should have the following skills and experience:

Good written communication skills
Understanding of social media channels
Knowledge of email marketing systems
Ability to prioritise work, organise and deliver multiple tasks to deadline
Ability to work with people at all levels to develop effective working relationships - across both organisation and wider stakeholder organisations
Good attention to detail and a creative aptitude
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Enthusiastic and adaptable to change
