Marketing and Communications Manager

Job description

A great opportunity has arisen for a temporary Marketing & Communications Manager for a national charity based in central London in order to develop and deliver a marketing and communications strategy.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Develop a marketing plan to reach the organisation priority audiences and existing supporters, to raise awareness of fundraising.
Project manage quarterly fundraising awareness weeks, including managing the communications plan before and after the events.

In order to apply you should have the following skills and experience:

Project and event management, developing marketing and communications plans, managing workflows.
Research, evaluation and evaluation methods, setting KPIs
Technical understanding of digital content delivery: principles of information architecture, user experience and SEO
Strong editorial, copy writing and proof reading skills;
Management of freelancers and agency contacts, securing delivery of cost-effective, high quality work.
Track record of delivering high quality work across on and offline channels.
Building effective relationships across organisational boundaries, demonstrating tact and negotiating sensitively.
Leading cross-department projects, gaining clarity and consensus, delivering multiple objectives.
